Within this small-scale creation, my intention was to engage with the archipelago’s landscape by eliminating all surplus elements, condensing it into a modest yet still identifiable arrangement. The piece edges towards non-representational forms, yet simultaneously retains an instantly recognizable essence of the landscape.
