On the surface

This painting is one of my explorations into seriality, yet it also signifies a pivotal moment – a fresh perspective on a more refined approach to the subject. Serial elements establish a sense of order within the turquoise canvas. The arrangement emerges from disparities in row heights, variations in element density, and the three-dimensional illusion produced by these differences. It’s as though the myriad components swaying in unison are autonomously forging a novel structure.
